I think it's interesting that your focus is shifting from the academy to the church and hope it is a shift that you embrace. Applying experience you garnered from one institutional model to another adds weight to your reflections and speaks to what I think about during the course of my days.
You hit it perfectly. I used to teach some of this but you have gone beyond my teaching. The one thing you may have missed is the effect of AI on worship. When a congregation livestreams, AI considers worship a performance. This means that someone must spend time...often hours...getting permissions to use music and poetry. Often it is just not possible to use even music from the denominational hymbook for live cc stream. Current religious music can be impossibly restricted. You might ask Rachel or Susan Homan about this.
It was challenging to just cover the major issues. I think churches are making progress and Gen Z’s are watching.
